Waldorf String Band is South Africa's top Traditional Folk and Singalong Celtic music band.Rael Birns (guitar, vocals and mouth organ) and John Gnodde (banjo, mandolin, guitar and vocals), together with Nippy Cripwell (one of the country's finest bass players), Jimmy Smyth (the brilliant flautist from Scotland), and Alan Strang (vocals and guitar), play and sing well-known, foot-tapping, fun-filled tunes and singalongs, with healthy doses of humour and nostalgia.
