Here's the man with the totally deadpan face – the fella you hear on radio and TV with the equally deadpan voice! But that's where deadpan stops! Chris Forrest's witty and cynical one-line humour is thought provoking and to the point. Totally nerdish and unflappable, his Drew Carey-looks and slowed-up delivery have ensured that audiences take to him enthusiastically, whether he performs an MC's role, or delivers comedy. Chris has performed across South Africa since 1999, at the Ha Ha East Coast Radio Comedy Festival ( Durban ), the Smirnoff International Comedy Festival ( Johannesburg and Cape Town ). In 2001, he was awarded "comedy piece of the year" on 5fm, and in 2003, he won the Freshest Five Comedy Competition. A regular on the Heavyweight Comedy Jam circuit, Chris was also part of Laugh Out Loud. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival twice, in 2003 and 2004, and was part of the writing team and cast on The Pure Monate Show
