Indeed, as one of South Africa 's most prolific comedians John Vlismas is well-known for his versatility and punishing schedule. Vlismas is a favourite amongst South Africans living abroad and regularly travels to London to cheer up the masses there. He wowed the world famous Comedy Store in November 2005, and has been asked to return. He's been featured at the Berlin festival, garnered favourable reviews for his sell-out shows in Melbourne , and still tours with the largest comedy productions in South Africa , the Kingsize Comedy Jams. He has also been very involved with South African Tourism's campaign in Australia , including a gala performance at the Sydney Opera House.John has written, directed and produced 6 one-man theatre shows.
