After graduating with honours from Wits university with a degree in
Dramatic Art, Dave worked as an actor for CAPAB before moving on to
the SABC where he became a specialist television producer
responsible for two of the biggest live magazine programmes ever
broadcast in South Africa - "Prime Time" and "Sundowner". He also
worked as a DJ for Radio 5 and presented various TV programmes
between 1982 and 1992. Having moved back to his roots in the Rorke's
Drift area of KwaZulu Natal, Dave built a lodge and now spends his
time sharing his passion for the history and culture of the Zulu
people. His multi-media presentations bring to the business world
the dramatic and moving stories from the battlefields of the
Anglo-Zulu War and the lessons that were learned which are so
applicable in today's battles, not only in the boardrooms and
workplaces of South Africa, but also across the often ambush-laden
terrains of the world's business fields. Dave is also a wonderful
raconteur, relating some of the truly wondrous stories of Herman
Charles Bosman and to complete the entertainment package, his guitar
and fine vocals have been the core of many memorable evenings abound
the campfire.
