Mamikie is a professional speaker, trainer and educationalist. She was born and brought up in Soweto and is a recognised expert in the field of women and childrens' issues and serves as a board member on the I CAN Foundation and The SA Student Christian Association. On the TV front, she had her own talk show on SABC2. She is a sought after guest on radio and television and has appeared on such programmes as "Good Morning South Africa" and "Agenda" and has also hosted a programme on Radio BOP on motivation and self-fulfilment. Mamikie is married to Dr David Molapo and is the mother of two children.
