Delivery Policy

When you submit your order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received the order.

 

All orders must be received with a 48 hour lead time. This allows us time to source ingredients and make up the platters.

Delivery is subject to the availability of delivery time and the relevant cut-off times.

 

We currently deliver in the Pretoria region only. 

 

If you wish to change the delivery address at any time prior to the scheduled time and date for delivery, you should contact us by email or by calling/faxing our offices. Although every effort will be made to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee delivery to the alternative delivery address within the same delivery slot or day.

Our delivery times are as follows:

Monday to Friday
08h00 - 15h00

Saturday, Sunday And Public Holidays
08h00-12h00

For verification purposes, our Delivery Team will be entitled to require the person accepting delivery at the delivery address to produce a form of identification.  

Any person other than yourself who receives the goods at the delivery address is conclusively presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.   

Should no one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the goods will be returned to us and a notice will be left at the delivery address to this effect. You will be required to contact our offices to make new arrangements for delivery or collection.

 

Shikanda's liability for failing to deliver the goods during the agreed delivery slot, or at all, is limited to the goods being delivered at a later agreed time.

 

You are required to ensure that you or an authorised person shall be in attendance at the delivery address during the agreed delivery slot and that appropriate access will be made available to the Shikanda Delivery Team.

 

On delivery, the person accepting delivery shall be required to sign and print his/her name as against a duplicate copy of the delivery note, to confirm receipt of the delivery.

 

Should you require us to make delivery to any person or address other than the given delivery address, for instance a neighbour, we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or for any discrepancy in the order.
